Only a heavy dusting of snow coats the Northern Peaks in this view of the Ravine of the Castles. Some of the namesake rock formations can be seen on the ridge on the right; Edmands Col lies at the head of the Ravine. The summits of Mounts Adams and Madison are readily identified; in the distance lies the Carter-Moriah ridge.
