The lines of the Cog Railway and Carriage Road can be seen, leading to the tiny colony of structures – the Summit House, Tiptop House, and the Stage Office/Observatory. Beyond the summit, the north-facing crags of Boott Spur are topped by the broad sweep of that secondary summit’s above-treeline plateau.
