A remarkable view of the fire-ravaged summit of Carter Dome, with its prominent fire tower (now long since removed), with Mount Washington looming beyond. The Gulf of Slides, Tuckerman Ravine, and Huntington Ravine all are quite apparent; Mount Jefferson lies to the right, over the Chandler Ridge.
