Much has changed on the summit since this photo was taken. The shingled Summit House has been replaced by the concrete-and-steel Sherman Adams Building, the old Stage Office/Observatory has been rebuilt, the summit water tank and the tiny Camden Cottage have long since been removed. The stone-walled TipTop House remains, though greatly refurbished.
