This view from the northeast shows several of the gullies which seam the headwall of Huntington Ravine. Over the lip of the Ravine lies the narrow plateau of the Alpine Garden, with the summit cone of Mount Washington above – the East Snow Fields are barely formed. A sinuous section of the Carriage Road can be seen on the right, above “Cow Pasture”; Mount Clay and its headwall are visible beyond.
