This handcrafted snow globe stands about 3.5 inches tall and is about 3.25 inches wide at its widest point on the base. The globe, which is made of glass, is about 2.25 inches in diameter. The base shows three distinctive landmarks seen on the summit of Mount Washington. The Sherman Adams Building (complete with MWO Instrument Tower), one of the Mount Washington Cog Railway's cog trains, and the Tip Top House (the oldest structure on the summit) The center of the globe depicts the "Rock Pile" found on the summit of the mountain complete with summit sign stating "Mt Washington Summit 6288 ft 1917M". Of course, when shaken there is snow! We think this is a wonderful memento of the summit of Mount Washington that will remind you of your adventure for many years to come!

I have wanted one of these for over a year. I finally ordered one and really like it. Yes, it's made in China but those fellows have been producing snow globes for years and this is well made. Order yours while the weather is still warm because they can freeze when shipped in winter weather.
