"Mount Washington and the heart of the Presidential Range" is another masterwork of Brad Washburn, known as a mountain explorer, photographer, and map-maker. He's mapped Denali, Everest, the Grand Canyon -- and Mount Washington, too. This paper map folds to about 5" x 8", and opens out to a beautiful 27" x 40" (approximately). At 1:20000 scale, this shaded relief trail map -- printed in Switzerland -- covers the Presidential area from Randolph (Route 2) south to Mount Isolation, and from Mt. Pierce in the west to Mt. Wildcat in the east. Contour intervals are at 50 feet, giving a great indication of the topography. We don't think you can find a more finely-detailed and more accurate map of the Mount Washington area. A work of art, it's as at home framed on your wall as it is in your pack pocket.
