Those folks who have lived in Maine or the Mt. Washington Valley for many years know Marty as Channel 8's summit resident with the thick accent and funny smile at the end of his broadcast.
Transmitter engineer and weather reporter, Marty's wit and unique storytelling both make for a fun read.

This is the perfect Marty book for those who remember him as they were growing up in New England. Bear in mind that Marty is an engineer, never claimed to be anything else - so don't be surprised when he spends a little time on 'engineer stuff'. It's all nicely written, just like it was coming straight out of his mouth. I could hear his great Nawthen accent. A real treat.
